The dishwasher is one of the foundations of the kitchen. Their attention to detail ensures that table presentation is flawless when guests walk into the establishment, that the food can be displayed beautifully and that the kitchen team has the tools necessary to keep up with demand. An efficient stewarding department is a key element to the dining cycle.

Primary Tasks:

• Pre-service, the dishwashing team assists with prep tasks as assigned by the Sous Chef
• During service, the dishwashing team washes and sanitizes all kitchenware and tableware in an efficient manner, ensuring they stay ahead of demand
• Receiving bus bins from the support staff, tableware is cleaned, organized and redeployed to the floor
• Cookware is cleaned as necessary during service, and then comprehensively at the end of the shift
• Dishwashers work methodically to handle all inventory with care, maximizing the life span of all equipment and minimizing replacement costs.

Qualifications:

Relevant education and work experience will definitely contribute to your appeal as a candidate. However, demonstrating a natural aptitude for the tasks outlined above in conjunction with values that align with ours are the primary drivers of our hiring decisions.
