Wellings of Picton is a vibrant community for independent adults aged 55+. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Front of House Server to join our team and help create a welcoming dining experience for our residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and efficiently
• Answer questions about menu items
• Monitor tables and respond to guest needs
• Clear and reset tables and maintain a clean dining area
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Follow food safety, health, and safety standards
• Handle guest concerns professionally

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience is an asset, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive, professional attitude
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Smart Serve and/or Food Handler Certificate is an asset, but not required
