Quality Control Manager (full-time)

Job type: Permanent Full-time

Pay: $85,000-100,000 annually

Location: 5055 Taylor Kidd, Bath, ON

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities within our North America operations. This role will be responsible for developing Quality Management Systems and Standards along with Health and Safety practices. The Quality Control Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes in multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems and procedures for manufacturing operations
  • Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process quality checks, final product inspections and Supplier Quality Development
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
  • Manage and mentor the quality control team, including inspectors and technicians
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and audit records
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Analyze quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure satisfaction

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing a Team of Engineers and Inspectors in multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in HVAC Equipment and coil manufacturing is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, or Lean manufacturing
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with quality reporting and documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • ISO Lead Auditor Certification
  • Experience managing regulatory or customer audits
