Job Description:

J&W Farms, a local company producing soups, dips, salsas, chilis, pestos and more, is looking for a full-time kitchen/production helper. Main duties include:

• washing, prepping/chopping vegetables(using a machine and/or by hand when necessary)
• assist the packing of finished product(labeling and dating finished product)
• perform cleaning and sanitation of prep area daily and as needed (surfaces, utensils, machinery, floors)
• organization and rotation of inventory for fresh ingredients and dry goods — first in, first out!

Flexible person also interested in working at our small farm field and farm stand — lots of opportunities!

Requirements:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Focused, physically strong as the work demands standing and lifting up to 50lbs
• Previous experience in manufacturing or the food industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining product quality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
