Peer Support South East Ontario (PSSEO) is currently recruiting for Peer Support Staff available to work in the Kingston Centre.

This position is contracted for 15 hours weekly with the possibility of additional hours through call-ins, meetings and training opportunities.

This is a bargaining unit position with SEIU Local 1 Canada.

Requirements of this position are:

• A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence in good standing with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Preferred post-secondary diploma or degree and/or a combination there of
• Lived experience with concurrent disorder and addiction recovery
• Group facilitation experience
• Up to date training in CPI/SMT, First Aid and WRAP
• Ability to attend work regularly with good attendance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• A clean criminal record check with vulnerable person screening
• Wage:  As identified in the Collective Agreement $20.60/hr
