Cube Coffee Bar is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Staff / Line Cooks to join their team in Tweed

The successful candidate will assist with daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, scratch-baking support, and artisanal food preparation. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork.

Job Duties:

• Complete daily mise en place and prepare ingredients for service
• Prep ingredients and assemble menu items according to established recipes
• Assist with scratch-baking and artisanal food preparation
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen stations
• Follow established recipes, preparation methods, and quality standards
• Follow all applicable health, safety, and food sanitation protocols
• Assist with receiving and organizing inventory
• Complete stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
• Help minimize food waste and maintain efficient use of ingredients
• Work collaboratively with both front-of-house and back-of-house team members
• Assist with other kitchen duties as required

Qualfications:

• Valid Food Handler Certification required
• Previous commercial kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred
• Solid knife skills and foundational cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs.)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience

• Part-time and full-time opportunities available
• Hourly wage will be determined based on experience ($18-$22 per hour, plus tips!)
