Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to El Torito’s recipes and presentation standards.
• Complete food preparation and safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen closing duties.
• Receive and properly store food and kitchen supplies.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and a strong team player.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, consistency, and food quality.
• Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

• Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and closing shifts.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to approximately 40 lbs.
• Food Handler Certification is preferred or must be obtained after hire.
• Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
• Must follow all workplace health, safety, and sanitation policies.
