The Housepeople work as a team to ensure that all public spaces in the hotel are shown off in their best light, at all times. Each space is cleaned on rotation throughout the day, with deep-cleaning activities occurring on a regularly scheduled basis. The schedule for housepeople runs 6-2 or 3-11. At night, a lot of deep cleaning occurs, and The Houseperson supports the Night Auditor whenever necessary.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Primary tasks:
- Cleans all public spaces in the hotel, indoors and outdoors
- Ensures all standards are met for cleanliness each shift
- Performs deep cleaning duties as per assigned tasks from the housekeeping manager
- Collects and deploys linen for all areas of the hotel
- Launders any linen as necessary
- Collects garbage and ensures it is stored properly for collection
- Assists with snow clearing and icing in the absence of maintenance staff
- Assist the room attendants when business levels dictate as per instructions from the housekeeping manager
- Monitors inventory of housekeeping supplies and proactively reports need items
Qualifications:
Relevant education and work experience will contribute to your appeal as a candidate. However, demonstrating a natural aptitude for the tasks outlined above in conjunction with values that align with ours are the primary drivers of our hiring decisions.
