McGee Excavating Limited in Campbellford, ON are looking to hire a FULL TIME – TEMPORARY/SEASONAL Grass Cutting Operator for Roadside Maintenance.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team in a seasonal Grass Cutting Operator position supporting roadway maintenance throughout the Municipality of Trent Hills.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an enclosed farm tractor equipped with a cutting attachment to maintain grass and vegetation along roadside areas. This is outdoor work completed in various weather conditions along municipal roadways.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an enclosed farm tractor with cutting blade attachment
• Perform grass cutting along roadways within Trent Hills
• Complete basic equipment checks and assist with routine maintenance as required
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Valid full G driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Prior experience operating a tractor is required
• Ability to work independently and follow direction
• Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to the starting job site at McGee’s Excavating

Additional Information:

Position Details:

• Seasonal position (starting mid to late June)
• Full-time hours (up to 40 hours per week)
• $18.00 per hour
• Outdoor, hands-on work environment

Additional Information:
This position may be well-suited to a student or individual with prior tractor operating experience seeking seasonal full-time work in an outdoor setting.
