Isaiah Tubbs Resort is seeking Front Desk Clerk that will serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. A Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guest.

Work Schedule:
Seasonal work from the end of May to mid-October. House vary based on hotel occupancy. Predicted 20-40 hours per week. Work days include weekends and holiday. Start times to be negotiated with the Front Desk Manager.

Duties:

  • Maintain a clean lobby and office area with light cleaning duties
  • Answering phones and transferring calls to the proper locations
  • Delegate requests to the appropriate team (Runners, Housekeeping, Maintenance)
  • Be able to inform guests about events on site as well as in the local area.
  • Create, amend and manage guest reservations online, over the phone and in person
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for any in-room issues.
  • Receive and post payments to guest accounts properly using Clover systems.
  • Work together with other departments to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation.
  • Record all issues that may arise to ensure the appropriate teams are informed
  • Tend to guest inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Assist guest with check in and check out procedures.’
  • Ensure all office supplies are stocked

Qualifications:

Transportation to and from work is required. Previous Customer Service experience, bilingual capabilities and a valid drivers are beneficial but not necessary for this position. Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written are essential to this position.

People who are timely with good work attendance, able to work well with others, personable and organized are well suited for this position. You must be able to interact with guests in a professional manner while providing them with service and responding to guest complaints.
