Class 1 Funeral Director 

Pay: $50,000-65,000 annually

Job Type: Full-time

Locations: Napanee, Northbrook, Parham

Description of Duties

• Manage one of our 3 locations, Napanee, Northbrook or Parham
• Arranging of funeral and cremation services, both at-need and pre-need
• Transfer of deceased to and from our location, embalming & preparation of deceased, visitation & services, arranging for final dispositions
• Complete, file all necessary legal documents, proof of death certificates and death registration
• Coordinate with clergy, cemeteries, and other service providers
• On-call rotation
• Provide exceptional support and guidance to grieving families
• Assist with other duties as needed within the funeral home operations

Requirements

• Class 1 Ontario Funeral Director’s License
• Criminal Record Check
• Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license
• Safely perform heavy lifting due to the physical nature of the role
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a safe team environment
• Salary will be competitive and based on the individual’s qualifications and experience
