Description of Duties
- Manage one of our 3 locations, Napanee, Northbrook or Parham
- Arranging of funeral and cremation services, both at-need and pre-need
- Transfer of deceased to and from our location, embalming & preparation of deceased, visitation & services, arranging for final dispositions
- Complete, file all necessary legal documents, proof of death certificates and death registration
- Coordinate with clergy, cemeteries, and other service providers
- On-call rotation
- Provide exceptional support and guidance to grieving families
- Assist with other duties as needed within the funeral home operations
Requirements
- Class 1 Ontario Funeral Director’s License
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license
- Safely perform heavy lifting due to the physical nature of the role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a safe team environment
- Salary will be competitive and based on the individual’s qualifications and experience
