Wellington Foodland is currently hiring a friendly and reliable Cashier for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing customer purchases and handling various payment methods.

Provide friendly and efficient customer service by greeting customers and responding to their needs, concerns, and inquiries.
Process purchases accurately by scanning or entering product prices, handling payment transactions, and packing groceries.
Maintain and balance the cash drawer by securing funds, monitoring cash levels, and replenishing as needed.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front-end area by cleaning/disinfecting surfaces, restocking and facing magazines, supplies, and candy, dusting, and returning misplaced items to their proper departments.
Manage front-end product inventory, including candy and batteries, by placing orders, removing expired items, and restocking deliveries.
Support other departments and perform additional duties as required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude.
Effective verbal communication with customers and team members.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Physically capable of performing the duties of the position (e.g., standing for extended periods, lifting and moving grocery items 5-20 kg).
