AZ / DZ Driver

Freshcrete Ltd. is a family-owned business and had been serving the Greater Napanee area since 2006. We are seeking a Full-time Driver (seasonal), effective immediately, for operation of our fleet of mobile-mix concrete trucks. This position is responsible for delivering mobile mixed concrete to construction job sites and residential areas. Drivers may be called upon to work extensive hours during the busy months.

Essential Functions:

• Drive truck in safe manner to job site.
• Unloads concrete in courteous manner.
• Gets tickets signed and assure you have all information that is needed. Communicate with office by phone when you arrive back at plant.
• Inspect the truck including checking fluids such as oil before starting in the morning.
• Backup or pulls into job site. Must be able to maneuver truck in uneven and or poor terrain.
• Exterior and interior of truck must be maintained in a clean manner at all times. Will have to utilize chipper to clean buildup of concrete.

The successful candidate will be a team player. Experience in the trucking and/or cement business is an asset. Specific job training will be provided with respect to the concrete operation.

Key Requirements:

• Valid Class AZ or DZ Driver’s Licence
• Clean driving record

• Operation of Manual trucks required
