Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to animals, ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing are a priority at all times.
• Assist and educate customers on pet products, nutrition, and animal care.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Support the team with stocking, merchandising, and maintaining an organized store.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace that follows health and safety standards.
• Help create a welcoming and positive shopping environment for customers and their pets.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily store operations.

Skills & Experience

• Passion for animals and a genuine interest in their care and wellbeing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good math skills and confidence handling cash and transactions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, friendly, and positive attitude.
• Previous retail or animal care experience is an asset.
• Bilingualism is considered an asset.
