Job Duties:

The Cheese Trap Restaurant is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and social media-savvy individual to join our team as a Part-Time Social Media & Marketing Assistant.

What You’ll Do

• Create and post engaging content across social media platforms
• Take photos and short videos of food, events, specials, and the restaurant
• Help promote menu items, promotions, events, and special offers
• Respond to comments and messages in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist with developing creative ideas to increase local awareness and engagement
• Help maintain an up-to-date social media presence
• Support other basic marketing and promotional activities as needed

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Creative eye and an interest in photography, video, and content creation
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable taking initiative and coming up with new ideas
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Previous social media, marketing, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is an asset
