Kaleidoscope Corner, located in Trenton, is seeking an ambitious and mature individual to join its team as a Part-Time Food Counter Attendant.

Job Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders and receiving payment for items purchased
• Assisting customers with menu choices and making recommendations
• Promoting company programs and advising on daily specials
• Preparing hot sandwiches and packing out customer orders
• Preparing hot espresso-based coffee and tea specialties
• Assembling and date stamping perishable food into assigned storage locations
• Stocking refrigerators and service stations throughout the day
• Receiving inventory and removing expired items daily
• Maintaining inventory and reordering items as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

• Able to manage competing demands under pressure in a busy work environment
• Develop communications skills to follow and convey specific instructions and work collaboratively
• Available to work on a rotating basis, including evening and weekends
• Capable to work continuously standing, stooping and bending, as workload demands
• Able to safely lift to 20kg
• Cash handling and POS experience is an asset
• Food Handlers Certificate an asset

Additional Information:

• 4-6 hours daily, 5 days a week
• $17.95/ hour to start with opportunities or advancement
