El Torito Mexican Cuisine is hiring energetic, friendly, and dependable Front-of-House Team Members for Server, Bartender, and Server Assistant positions. We are looking for people who enjoy working with the public, supporting their teammates, and creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

• Greet and seat guests while providing a warm and welcoming experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (Bartenders).
• Process guest payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables.
• Restock service stations and supplies.
• Assist coworkers during busy service periods.
• Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
• Bartenders will prepare beverages according to El Torito’s recipes and alcohol service standards, maintain a clean and organized bar, and monitor guests to ensure responsible alcohol consumption.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or bartending experience is an asset but not required for all positions.
• Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Able to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
• Comfortable handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
• Smart Serve Certification is required for Servers and Bartenders.
• Must meet Ontario’s legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to carry trays and lift approximately 30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
• Server Assistants must be willing to assist with hosting, clearing tables, food running, cleaning, and restocking.
