The Quinte Animal Hospital is seeking a Temporary Full Time Veterinary Assistant – filling a maternity leave, to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Assist with anesthetic monitoring
• Assist in examination rooms with clients
• Provide direct patient care
• Daily stocking and cleaning and maintaining equipment
• Handle client communications
• Schedule appointments and manage administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Experience with animals, preferably a veterinary assisting course
• Passionate about the comfort and care of animals
• Preference given to those with Vetmed background
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• New graduates welcome
