Picton Farm Supply is under new ownership and continues to serve the local agricultural and pet communities with a wide range of products, including livestock feed, pet food and supplies, equine supplies, fencing, bird seed and feeders, chlorine, and other farm-related essentials.

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Service Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on, varied role that combines customer service, cash handling, stocking, and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys helping customers and is willing to pitch in wherever needed.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Customer service focused: Enjoys assisting customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Flexible and reliable: Available for full-time hours, with availability and flexibility clearly outlined in their application.
• Comfortable with physical work: Able to regularly lift 55 lbs or more.
• Willing to handle cashier duties: Comfortable serving customers at the front counter, processing sales, and handling cash. This is an essential part of the role and is not strictly a warehouse position. Training can be provided, but a willingness to perform cashier duties is required.
• A strong communicator: Has legible handwriting for completing invoices and a pleasant telephone manner when speaking with customers and suppliers.
• Interested in agriculture: Previous agricultural experience or knowledge of farm-related products is an asset.
• Hands-on and organized: Willing to assist with loading dock duties, shipping and receiving, merchandising, and stocking shelves.
• A team player: Brings a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to take on tasks both big and small to help the team serve customers effectively.
