Taxi Drivers

The Taxi Guy in Prince Edward County is looking to fill multiple positions for Taxi Drivers, starting immediately. 

Responsibilities & Duties

• Drivers must apply for The County’s taxi driver licensing process which includes providing a criminal record check and driver’s abstract,
• Drivers answer calls from radio system and pick up and bring guests to their desired locations,
• Driver inputs their drive sheets on iPad, which gets printed at the end of their shift and provided to accounting.

General Information

• Drivers work on commission-based contracts, where they make 40% of sales that shift,
• Shifts run from Day shift 7:00am – 4:00pm, to Afternoon shift 4:00pm – 12:00am (closed from 12:00am – 7:00am), part-time or full-time shifts are available,
• Drivers will need a full G driver’s license,
• Familiarity with an iPad would be helpful but not necessary,
• Knowledge of Prince Edward County an asset, but not necessary,
• All cars, gas and repairs are provided by the Employer,
• COVID-19 cleaning protocols are in effect and Drivers must wear masks while they are on-shift,
