Tax Preparer

With over 30 years each preparing tax returns, we at Quinte Bookkeeping prepare basic tax returns, rental property, employment expenses, truck drivers, train employees and small businesses. Currently we are looking for a full-time Tax Preparer to join us for the 2024 tax season (late February to May 2025).

Duties include:

• Preparing Income Tax Returns – Basic – Small Business – Rental Properties – Employment Expenses – Capital Gains – Truck Drivers – Farms.
• Answering the phone, booking appointments, answering tax questions.
• Meeting & Greeting Clients. Some bookkeeping.

Requirements include:

• 5 years experience preparing income tax returns. Excellent knowledge of the tax program Profile.
• Excel and Word experience.
• Courteous and professional phone skills.
• Availability to work Saturdays (accommodations available during the tax season)
