Fireplace Specialties located in Belleville is seeking a Full-time Salesclerk. We are a proud family-owned business, which started as LCM Fireplaces in 1989. In 2013 a new 4000 sq. ft.  showroom was built at 773 Bell Blvd West to expand our displays and give us a chance to offer more ideas for our customers.

Job Duties: 

• Providing customer service in a retail and warehouse setting
• Answering phones
• Greeting and assisting clients
• Taking payments
• Pricing updates
• Data entry
• Other duties as deemed necessary

Skills/Qualifications:

• Retail work experience. Gas fireplace/woodstove/barbeque knowledge an asset.
• Customer service skills and professionalism are absolutely required.
• Computer savvy – Excel, Word, Power Point, E-mail, accounting program
• Be able to work as a team and independently
• Analytical skills
• Good work ethic
• Sense of humour

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 9-5, Saturday 10-2 (on rotation)
• $18 – $24 per hour depending upon experience
• Benefits available after successful completion of the 3-month probationary period, as well as RRSP Contribution & company limited matching program available after 6 months of full time employment
• Some lifting will be involved in this position
