About Us:
The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association is committed to helping seniors live independently with dignity and comfort. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to support our vision through various community programs and volunteer efforts.
What We Offer:
• Full-Time Contract Position (approx. 12 months)
• Work-Life Balance: Regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Engaging Work: Collaborate with a passionate team, work with seniors and volunteers, and have your own office space.
• $50,000/year
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated Program Coordinator who possesses the following qualities and qualifications:
• Excellent Communication Skills: You can articulate clearly and effectively with team members, volunteers, and clients.
• Customer-Service Oriented: You have a knack for understanding and meeting the needs of others.
• Organized and Detail-Oriented: You can manage multiple priorities with precision and care.
• Problem Solver: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can navigate ambiguity with ease.
• Educational Background: You hold a community college diploma or degree.
• Experience: You bring administrative, event management, and computer skills to the table.
• Community-Focused: You have a passion for working with seniors and volunteers.
• Flexible and Reliable: You have daily use of a car and are committed to meeting program goals.
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Compliance with our COVID-19 vaccination policy is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program Management: Implement and oversee assigned community support services and social programs.
• Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and support volunteers.
• Client Services: Manage client and volunteer intakes, referrals, and ongoing tracking.
• Fundraising Support: Assist with fundraising initiatives and community outreach.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain database, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
