Panel Processing Operator

Paul Holden Kitchens located in Stirling, ON. is looking for a Permanent Full Time Panel Processing Operator

Paul Holden Kitchens, manufacturer of custom cabinetry for residential applications; kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, entertainment centers and fireplace surrounds.  Completely custom designed for every room in the home.

Job Duties:

• Operation of three automated machines including a CNC Router, CNC Dowel Machine and an Edge Banner
• Utilizing CNC Router, CNC Dowel Machine and Edge Banner to cut, bore, groove, drill
• Installing hardwood dowels
• Applying banding to edges of cabinet components
• Effectively processing various 4’ X 8’ sheets of material into cabinetry components
• Loading of material sheets into the proper machines
• Correctly labelling of each component processed
• Responsible for the proper stacking of components on to carts for the next steps in the manufacturing process

Qualifications:

• Experience working with the following types of machinery – CNC Router, CNC Dowel Machine, Edge Banner
• Knowledge of Woodworking and Cabinetmaking considered an asset
• Able to lift 50bls or greater continuously
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in a noisy environment

Additional Information:

• Job Type: Permanent Full Time
• Wages: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour. The Starting Wage will be dependent on the applicants current knowledge, skills and abilities relating to the woodworking and cabinetmaking trade.
• Hours: Monday to Thursday – 7:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. The payable hours for this schedule are 44 hours per week.
