Meat Clerk

Trenton’s Ontario & Dundas FreshCo is seeking a hardworking experienced individual to fill the position as a full time Meat Clerk.

Job Duties:

• Communication with head office and corresponding all orders and emails.
• Plan and develop a stock level to ensure all customers needs are met.
• Develop leadership with team.
• Complete tasks on the computer and be able to order product through using an order gun.
• Control shrink by effective inventory control.
• Work with all staff at location to enhance customer experience.
• Review date code and rotation of date sensitive stock
• Putting up stock from load and ensuring proper placement on the shelf
• Provide customer service to enhance business and assist with shoppers’ needs
• Plan and organize displays and cooler
• Work with frozen foods and filling sections as needed
• Unload skids and organize load using scale to weigh
• Maintain and clean work areas as well as sales floor area
• Check off invoices to ensure loss prevention is minimal

Qualifications:

• Customer Service experience
• Ability to work efficiently with computers
• Food Handling experience
• Control loss prevention
• Ability to follow number patterns, place stock in correct locations
• Ability to work in a colder environment
• Physically able to lift to 50lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Additional Information:

• Wages: $19 per hour or more depending on experience
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends
• Benefits available to Full Time employees
