Fireplace Installer

Fireplace Specialties located in Belleville is seeking a Full-time Installer. We are a proud family-owned business, which started as LCM Fireplaces in 1989. In 2013 a new 4000 sq. ft.  showroom was built at 773 Bell Blvd West to expand our displays and give us a chance to offer more ideas for our customers.

Job Duties: 

• Installing gas and wood products in customers homes
• Keeping work vehicles and work area neat & tidy
• Lifting/carrying of products in and out of homes and warehouse
• Loading/unloading product onto company vehicles
• Use of hand tools
• Communication, teamwork, organization
• Punctuality a must
• Other duties as required

Skills/Qualifications:

• Good work ethic, reliable, and willing to learn
• Analytical skills, know how to prioritize
• Be able to work well in a team or on your own
• Capable of heavy lifting
• Driver’s licence
• Working at Heights (Installer will be working on roofs)
• WHMIS
• WETT Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday with 8am start. Flexibility required to work until the daily scheduled jobs are completed.
• $22 – $28 per hour depending upon experience
• Benefits available after successful completion of the 3-month probationary period, as well as RRSP Contribution & company limited matching program available after 6 months of full time employment
