Comedian

The Cheese Trap Restaurant, Campbellford Ontario is looking to fill a unique position of a Part Time – Comedian for their once-a-week Comedy Evening.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Stand-up comedian
• Excellent communication skills
• Perfect comic timing and excellent sense of humor
• Displaying a jovial attitude
• Knowledge of trending topics and issues
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Familiarity with operating stage equipment, mics, speakers and lights
• Good networking and socializing skills
• Ability to perform sensitive topics in an inoffensive manner
• Looking for friendly, outgoing and comedic people who are interested in making people laugh.
• Must be people centric and comfortable with public speaking.
• Must have present/perform own material

Responsibilities:

• Providing Comedic Entertainment to a Crowd
• Write jokes and scripts for the stage
• Compose and perform acts
• Interact with the amuse the crowd
• Help prepare the stage
• Develop an on-stage personality
• Tell engaging and funny stories

Additional Information:

This is a Part Time – One Night a Week Position

Present Schedule – Friday evenings from 7pm to Close (11pm)

Pay is – Between $30-$35/hr PLUS Tips

Location – Campbellford

Position to Start – ASAP
