Vanderlaan Installations is seeking a Bookkeeper- Contract Coverage for Maternity leave until January 2025
Job Duties:
- Data entry in QBO system
- Process weekly payroll and employee expenses
- Onboarding of new employees
- Onboarding of new employees
- Organize benefit and RRSP/DPSP programs
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Client Billing
- Prepare bank deposits
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Call customers to arrange installation dates
- Compile and collect installation paperwork
- Compile and collect installation paperwork
- General office duties: order supplies, answer phone calls, greet visitors
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook specifically)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi task
- Accounting or office administration experience or education an asset
Additional Information:
- Wage: $20- $25 per hour depending on experience
- Maternity leave coverage until January 2025
- Hours may vary, Full time summer hours , part time fall and winter
