Description

The Napanee Beer Company is looking for a Packaging and Cellar Operator to work as part of the day-to-day operations in the brewery. Reporting to the General Manager, the Packaging and Cellar Operator will work on packaging, cellaring and other production needs, and function as an important part of our busy and growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • operate canning line and keg-filling equipment
  • ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of all production areas
  • follow all safety procedures
  • participate in any other brewing-related operations as requires

Competencies and abilities:

  • ability to safely lift or move heavy loads, including -- but not limited to -- kegs (60kg+) and grain sacks (25kg)
  • proven ability to work safely in a production environment
  • ability to work independently for long periods with limited supervision
  • clean and organized

Experience:

  • experience in a kitchen, factory or other production environment will be considered an asset
  • retail or customer service experience will be considered an asset
