Line Cook

Red’s Diner, a staple in the Trenton community for great breakfast and lunch options, is seeking to hire a part-time Line Cook with possibility of leading to full-time.

Job Duties: 

• Assists in food prep and proper storage during off-peak periods for smooth service.
• Prepares, cooks, and plates menu items using proper portion sizes and techniques.
• Cleans and maintains food preparation areas, ensuring a sanitary and hazard free workspace.
• Cleans dishes if required during off-peak periods.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience an asset, employer is willing to train.
• Possess Safe Food Handling certificate or be willing to obtain.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation

Additional Information:

• Wage: $17.00/hr to start
• Job Type: Part-time, with possibility of working towards full-time
• Schedule: 6:30am start, end time typically no later than 3:30pm. Great shift for work/life balance!
• Start Date: ASAP
