Training Course Start Date – November 11, 2019 & January 6, 2020
Training Course Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 5 evenings 2:30  to 9:00 p.m.
You must commit to being available to attend the entire training program hours which is estimated to be four (4) weeks in duration.

Candidates, who successfully complete our four (4) week paid training program, at no cost to them, will be offered work as a Home Support Worker within our health care team. Under the supervision and support of a regulated health care professional, you will be assigned to selected patients in their homes. Tasks may include assisting with personal care, respite care, light housekeeping, and other activities of daily living. As a Saint Elizabeth employee, you will have opportunities for knowledge exchange and ongoing education, training and professional development.
 Availability to work days, evenings, nights and every other weekend.
 A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, travel is required.
 Proof of updated required Immunizations (MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus and Tuberculosis)
 A successful Vulnerable Sector Check
 Successfully pass a criminal background check
 High school diploma is required.
 A willingness to attain required Saint Elizabeth certifications.
 Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
 Well-developed interpersonal skills.
 Excellent organizational skills.
 Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
 Ability to work well within a changing environment.
 A demonstrated appreciation for quality improvement processes.
 Basic computer skills required
