Description

Reporting to Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a variety of routine accounting duties with a focus on invoice production, customer service, and administration. More specifically your responsibilities will include:

  • Set-up/review of customer and accounting information into QuickBooks software
  • Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with Managers regarding customer issues and collections
  • Make collection calls to customers and follow up on overdue payments
  • Bookkeeping administration in support of the Accounting Team
  • Other duties as required

What qualifications are required for this position?

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Willingness to learn new software systems utilized by our company
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to be flexible to address issues as they arise
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and diplomacy

What type of scheduling does Wentworth Landscapes offer?

This role is suitable for motivated individuals able to commit to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) of business hours, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required.
