QUINTE WEST – Celebrate in the beautiful bay side Centennial Park. All day entertainment, car show, vendor village, outdoor petting zoo, drum circle, inflatables, displays, demonstrations and the traditional huge cake, courtesy of Smylie’s Your Independent Grocer. Begin your day with the pancake breakfast sponsored by the Lion’s Club. Worship service will start at 9:30 a.m. Join in the Canada Day Eh! Community parade starting at the Arena at 10:30 a.m. and ceremonies at 11:00 a.m. Strongman competition at 11:00 a.m. Opening Test your luck at the Knights of Columbus BINGO. BELLEVILLE – New times this year. 3 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. -Bring your family, picnic blankets and lawn chairs, and join in the awesome afternoon and evening FREE attractions and entertainment at West Zwick’s Park on the Bay! Inflatable fun for people of all ages. Get creative and help to decorate the giant ‘Canadian History’ monster colouring mural. Art is everywhere with balloon art, face art, and beautiful hair art. Check out the ‘Birds of Prey Flight Show’ at 4:30, 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. Musical entertainment all day long at Tom Gavey pavilion and the Lions Pavilion Main Stage, with acts like Andy Forgie, Northern Lights Steel Orchestra, tribute artists and the incredible rock and roll from Carl Dixon trio. 70’s Revolution will take you through until the Fireworks display at 10:00 p.m. Lots of food on-site. FREE admission and On-site parking for a $5 donation. PICTON – Main Street is closed all day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Elizabeth to Bridge St. to create a fun, pedestrian space. Street Fair from noon until 5 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, and the interactive activities on the community stage, including a tai chi demo, pickleball and a puppy parade. Try out some paintball target practice. And ‘Come Alive Outside’ in the PEC Green Zone. Street performers, face painting, hair art, beer garden and lots of food vendors. Fireworks at dusk in Delhi Park. Elks Lodge in Picton is hosting a street party from 12:30 to 5 p.m. with ‘The Decades’. Get details!
WELLINGTON – 2 day celebration starting on Saturday, June 30 with a FREE street dance featuring ‘The Shadowz’ from 7:30 pm. to 11 p.m. and Fireworks at dusk! Annual parade on Sunday, followed by vendor and food market, kid’s zone, concert in the park and more! Pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Wellington Town Hall on Canada Day with homemade pancakes, sausages, strawberry compote and live music. Get more details!
STIRLING – Celebrate with Stirling-Rawdon council and township staff. Event starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Stirling Fairgrounds (437 West Front St.)or, if raining, head to the arena. Enjoy a family evening of FREE fun with burgers, hot dogs, cake and beverages until they are gone! Face painting, glow sticks and glitter tattoos. Live local music entertainment. CENTRE HASTINGS & MADOC – Start off in with the Trinity United Church Street breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Children’s games in Centre Hastings Park from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mega slide and bouncy castle available from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Canada BBQ from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. See the “Men of Service” display at the Arts Centre from 2 until 5 :30 p.m. Take in Freddy Vette & The Flames rock the Arts Centre from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The illuminated flotilla of boats heads out of the Moira Lake Boat Launch at dusk with fireworks following at 10 p.m. Contact information here.
MARMORA – Celebrations and events take place over two days. Farmer’s Market takes place as usual on Saturday, June 30, from 8 a.m – 2 p.m. Take in ‘Wellness On The River’, Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. with an amazing group of holistic practitioners and vendors. Terry Chisholm is on stage at the Crowe Valley Campground starting at 7:00 p.m. Event is Free and welcome to everyone. The lighted boat parade on Crowe Lake starts at 8:30 p.m. followed by a firework display near Booster Park. Canada Day worship in the park starts at 10:30 a.m. followed by BBQ, children’s activities, scavenger hunts and more at Memorial Park from 10am to 2pm. Canada Day parade starts at the fairgrounds at 2:00pm., finishing up with the Billy Newton Davis Concert on the Lake from 2 – 3 p.m. Read more details.
TWEED – start your Canada Day in Tweed with a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. You can join in or be a spectator of the parade down the main street starting at 12:30pm, followed by an afternoon of musical entertainment, fireman water games, crafts, and activities including bouncy castles, free hot dogs and snow cones, a Canada Day cake and lots of other activities. Take in live music at both the Legion and the Tweedsmuir, or enjoy music in the park with the ‘Country Sky Band’. Finish the evening off with free Hawkins cheezies, glow sticks and a tremendous fireworks display!
GREATER NAPANEE – from 7:30am to 10:30pm at the Strathcona Paper Centre, 16 McPherson Drive,. CAMPBELLFORD – Rotary Pancake breakfast from 8am to 10am, activities in the park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a petting zoo and pony rides, bouncy castle, face painting, ducky pond, food booths and more.
